I'm Jim, your go-to guy for peace of mind. Leave your home and fur babies (or feathered, or scaly ones) in my care, and jet off to your adventure. With me on pet and pad patrol, you're all set for a truly stress-free getaway. Just think of me as your personal home and pet-sitting superhero!
Hey there! I'm Jim, the heart and soul behind Pads and Pets Housesitting, bringing a mix of good old-fashioned values and modern-day pet pampering to the table. At 61-years-young, I'm all about the non-drinking, non-smoking, wholesome lifestyle. My Christian faith keeps me grounded and honest, and as a dedicated digital nomad, my office is wherever your home happens to be. This means I can pour my heart into making sure your furry, feathery, or scaly friends and your beloved home are cared for with the utmost attention and respect.
About five years ago, I started pet- and house-sitting to help out some friends. After a few stints ranging from ten days to six months, and caring for a variety of animals from dogs to chickens, I decided to get serious about the vocation.
So, here's my promise: Your pad, your pets, and your plants are as unique as a unicorn, and they deserve care that's just as special. Need someone to keep your cat's Instagram updated? I'm your guy. Got a pooch with a pill schedule more complex than a rocket launch? I've got it covered. And your house? I'll keep it so spic-and-span, you'll come back finding it just as you left, maybe even better!
Rest assured, I'm not just some dude who likes pets; I'm serious about your home and your non-human family. So, while you're away sipping cocktails on a beach or climbing up the side of a mountain, you'll be chill, knowing I'm holding down the fort, keeping your pets in high spirits and your plants alive (yes, even that finicky fern).
Jim stayed at my house and took care of my dog and my house. He left it very clean and even replaced some things for me and offered to get some store items so that I would have them when I returned. Tucker did great and I was amazed how good everything looked when I returned. I was very pleased. I will use him again.

Jim stayed at our home for nearly 6 months while we were away. He fed our dog and took it on walks. He kept the extensive grounds mowed, weeded and watered. He made sure important mail was handled properly. He did it all well and we trusted him completely.
